Inmate sentenced for possession of contraband

Madison, Wis. - John W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Christopher Sinclair, 32, an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution at Oxford, Wis., was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to nine months in prison for possession of contraband, specifically marijuana.

Judge Conley imposed this sentence to run consecutively to Sinclair’s current prison sentence. Sinclair pleaded guilty to this charge on September 6, 2012.

The charge against Sinclair was the result of an investigation conducted by FCI-Oxford, Special Investigation Supervisors and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Leah Fillbach Lenzendorf.
